Split Personality
I should now agree with the fact that I am deeply woven into Split Personality syndrome. Is it good or is it bad for my health? Don’t Know. Moreover I believe in an age old adage “When in Rome do as the Romans do”. And that’s the reason I got tangled into this affair.
It all started after I stepped into my car. The world now appears different to me. The two personalities that I own are:
Biker: While driving a bike, I feel the car and cab drivers does not care about the pedestrians and two wheelers. They believe that they own the entire stretch of the road.
Car driver: When I drive my car, I feel the bikers and pedestrians have no traffic sense. They will jump in between the road from any corner of the road.
These very perceptions of the same situation bind me. I don’t believe in blaming traffic rules, cluttered roads, population etc. I do believe that I need to start living with the situation without ever complaining because what I have is still not a possibility in many countries.
Any ways that is a new definition of Split Personality, and I do believe that I have to live with them until I Ieave any one of them.
Hi Sajid,
It is a very small, simple but sparkling thought. This is good introspection. Actually this is what we all do, in general. We change our norms depending on the situation we are in, and again – start complaining that the others are not acting as per the norms.
I appreciate your ability to view ‘something special’ out of a ‘not-very-special’ scenario. Waiting to read more from you …

Good observation Sajid
. We automatically place ourselves in the “better” group, while the others are placed in the “bad” group. “Us” and “them”.
It takes some real thinking to look at things from the other side. Congratulations!
